The definition of a trek in USA seems to be not fitting into mine. The paths are generally pre-defined and marked with directions. What is the fun in exploring if there is no fear of the unknown. You may be right , but to me a trek is anything where you go out with enthusiasm to see the extraordinary in the ordinary everyday world.
